Exit-Interviews: Capturing Lessons Learned from an Internship Program

Exit interviews are an effective tool for organizations to continually improve their internship program. These “interviews” are really, more simply, either conversations between an intern and their manager, a written evaluation completed by the intern, or a blend of both. When deciding how to structure your organization’s exit interview, consider that some interns may be willing to provide constructive feedback face to face and others may be less willing to do so.
